Mark Calimlim | マーク・キャリムリム
Mark Calimlim Sensei joined the Okinawan Karate Club of Frisco in 2017 at the age of 9 and has been an active Karateka for the past 8 years. Prior to joining, Mark had no experience in martial arts, but quickly grew to enjoy the discipline and focus. In addition to his karate training Mark is an active member of the Rick Reedy Marching Band and enjoys playing tennis and working out to maintain his fitness. Over the past 8 years, Mark has had the opportunity to be trained by Renshi Rajesh Chathapuram, Sensei Keith and Renshi Constance An as well other great instructors like Kyoshi Wayne Murphy. Mark was awarded his Shodan (1st degree black belt) on January 27th, 2024 by Renshi Rajesh Chathapuram in both Shorin Ryu and Shudokan Karate.
